Through Mud and Glass is a series that describes the people around me as seen through a curtain of surrealistic light. Often these figures are distracted and set against a quiet, mysterious landscape. The space materializing through my marks is a free-form place where I invite the viewer to dream as I do. If time exists here, it would be as the sun rises over and the morning fog starts to burn off. This project allows me to draw out a South without borders and questions without answers.
